Talking about the toss, Nepal won the toss and elected to field first
UAE was playing well without losing a wicket in the first 9 overs. For Nepal, Rajmati Airi gave
Nepal a breakthrough. She took the first wicket of Satish and gave Nepal a breakthrough in the
last ball of the 10th over. Satish scored 21 runs in 32 balls for UAE.
In 12.3 overs, another important wicket fell for UAE’s captain Isha Oja. She was playing well and
she scored 39 runs in 38 balls. Manisha Upadhyay took this wicket for Nepal.
Similarly, the third wicket fell in 14.1 overs when UAE’s total score was 76. Nepal’s Manisha
Upadhyay took this wicket of Lavanya Kenny. Manisha Upadhyay also took the fourth wicket of
UAE in a score of 90.
Manisha Upadhyay took 4 wickets and was the highest wicket-taker for Nepal. UAE scored 114

In reply, chasing a target of 115 runs, Nepal lost their first wicket in the form of Rajmati Airi in 5.2
overs. She was run out when the ball went straight into the fielder’s hands and tried to take a
run. She took unnecessary risks inside the 30-yard circle.

At the end of 10.4 overs, Nepal’s score was 49 and lost 3 wickets. Nepali batsmen lost wickets

Then captain Indu Burma managed to lead Nepal to a 5-wicket win over the United Arab
Emirates.

After this win, Nepal has reached the Global Qualifiers from where we can qualify for the T20
World Cup.
